Teacher: Do you remember learning
about sentence structure? There are two basic parts. The complete subject names who or what the sentence is about/ included
are the simple subject and all of the words and phrases that describe it. The complete predicate tells what the
subject does, is or has. Included are the verb and all of the words and phrases
that describe it. Can you make up two sentences with complete subject and
complete predicate?

each of the following sentences, draw a line between the complete subject and
the complete predicate:
1. The wall of Jerusalem was broken down many, many years ago.

4. The enemy requested repeatedly a meeting in a nearby village.
